Angel Costume Symbol of Christmas
There are certain symbols of Christmas that everyone recognizes- Santa Claus, Christmas trees, turkey dinners and mistletoe. However an often overlooked, but nonetheless important symbol is the angel.
Playing a hugely important part in the Nativity- talking to Mary and directing the 3 wise men to Bethlehem- the role of angels is sometimes forgotten at Christmas by many people. What else would stand proudly atop a Christmas tree?
For school children, playing the Angel Gabriel in the yearly Nativity play is a great honour to have, and requires a top quality angel costume. Luckily angel outfits are available widely online and come in numerous different sizes. This allows both boys and girls to play the role, and look truly magnificent on stage!
There are a lot of angel costumes on the market, ranging from cheap and cheerful to quality deluxe. Generally the costumes include a sparkly dress, a halo and a set of wings, and will brighten up any situation be it school play or fancy dress party.
